Thomas James Every, 52, of Colesburg, Iowa, died on Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester, Iowa. He was born August 17, 1956, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Donald and Eula (Ridenour) Every. He was raised in the Colesburg area, and graduated from Ed-Co High School in 1975. He also attended Kirkwood Community College for two years.
Thomas was united in marriage to Becky Fox on April 15, 1978, at Stanley Union Church. Two children were born to this union. Together they moved to Colesburg in 1980 and owned and operated Every Auto and Tire Center.
Tom enjoyed his family, his granddaughter, boating, camping, the outdoors, and his dog, Buster.
Survivors include the love of his life, his wife, Becky Every of Colesburg; one daughter, Melissa (Brian) Bush of Earlville; one son, Mitchell Every of Colesburg; one granddaughter, McKenna Bush; two brothers, Steven (Mary Ann) Every of Colesburg and Charles (Vicki) Every of Cedar Rapids; and one sister, Mary Ellen (Kenny) Lahr of Delhi.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
