Lauretta and her husband Bob retired to Prescott Valley, Arizona in 1986. Her husband Bob died on February 13, 1989 and she continued to reside in Arizona until 2005, when she returned to Iowa.

Lauretta was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Strawberry Point; and also Emanuel Lutheran Church in Prescott Valley, Arizona. While she resided in Arizona, she was also a Lioness Member. Lauretta was also a member of the Red Hat Society and a quilting club. She loved music, cooking, her dog, Sonny, playing the organ, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lauretta is survived by her children, Jane (John) Michaels of Phoenix, Arizona; Keith Falck of Shanghai, China; Linda (Steve) Burr, of Manchester, Iowa; Robert Falck Jr., of Arlington, Iowa; and Mary (Mike) Curtis of Marion, Iowa; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Allan Falck and his wife Lillian of Strawberry Point, Iowa;

Michaels Family grandchildren- Melissa Michaels, Edward Michaels, Andrew (Lindsey) Michaels, John Michaels, Jr., Laura (Bryan) Kupper; Michaels Family great-grandchildren- Bailey, Payton, Taylor Michaels, and Camron Rankin;

Burr Family grandchildren- Jackie (Tadd) Moorman; Calvin (Jennifer) Burr; Stephanie (Josh) Boesen; Clayton (Angie) Burr; Burr Family Great-Grandchildren- Meleah Burr and Kailey Burr.

Falck Family grandchildren- Bobbi Marie Falck, Charlie (fiancé Michelle Schoenig) Falck, Jacob Falck, and Amalia Falck.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Falck, Sr., in 1989; an infant son, Kenneth; four sisters, Lela Reasland; Nettie Tessmer; Hazel Benz; Lorraine Smith; and one brother, George Stapel.
