Bryan Ernest Bosler, 65, of Manchester, Iowa, died on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester, following a battle with cancer. He was born on December 1, 1943, the son of Marvin and Harriet (Moreland) Bosler. He was raised and educated in the Manchester and Ryan areas and graduated in 1962 from West Delaware High School.

Bryan served honorably in the United States Navy from September 25, 1962 until September 23, 1966. He moved back to Manchester and did factory work and later operated a tavern for 5 years. Bryan was in law enforcement for 9 years and then started organizing gun shows.

Bryan enjoyed hunting, guns, shooting, and the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Bosler of Manchester; daughter, Tina (Doug) Waggoner of Cedar Rapids; one grandson, Ryker Waggoner; his father, Marvin (Rosemary) Bosler of Manchester; step-daughter, Jennifer (Tony) Bruggeman of Manchester; and step-son ,Kyle Lendt of Manchester.

Bryan was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet and a step-son, John White.
